As we head into 2010, it starts us thinking about Summer Recreation and anticipating the end of August when hunting season will be just a few shorts months away. Now is the time to get your dog(s) out into the field to begin the conditioning process. Slow at first, then by mid September turn them loose...... For those of you who come to Deadman Creek Outfitters looking for deer, the population of mule deer and whitetail on the property is once again outstanding. Jack will be spending a lot of time on the property this summer and has identified some real "wall hangers". It's never too early to sight that trusted rifle in so when you have that chance to bag a trophy you are confident that your weapon won't let you down.

We continually strive to improve the habitat, especially our winter habitat. Over the past years, we have planted several habitat plots for the birds and 100's of local trees . We reinvest a portion of our proceeds back into the land. Every year we begin new projects with the aim of improving our habitat.
